Fairbanks wildfires

Overview of impactful wildfires that burned in the Fairbanks North Star Borough from 1901 to 2023. This outreach report is a part of ACCAP’s historic extreme events library of weather and climate events that significantly impacted Alaskans. These materials were created by Caroline Erickson, an Alaska Fellow at ACCAP during winter 2023/2024, with guidance from Rick Thoman.
