1986 southcentral flooding

Overview of heavy flooding in southcentral — Seward, Kenai Peninsula and lower Susitna River — during October 1986. This outreach report is a part of ACCAP’s historic extreme events library of weather and climate events that significantly impacted Alaskans. These materials were created by Caroline Erickson, an Alaska Fellow at ACCAP during winter 2023/2024, with guidance from Rick Thoman.
